Didier Bertrand is Associate Professor of French in the Department of World Languages & Cultures at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. He holds a Ph.D. in French from the University of Iowa, and his research and publications focus on the retellings of the Robinson Crusoe story and second language acquisition.
