Beverley Milton-Edwards is Professor in the School of Politics and Assistant Director for the Study of Ethnic Conflict at Queen's University, Belfast. She is the author of Contemporary Politics in the Middle East (1999) and, in this series, Islamic Fundamentalism since 1945 (Routledge 2004). Peter Hinchcliffe was Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the School of Politics at Queen's University, Belfast and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. He is co-author of Jordan: A Hashemite Legacy (Routledge 2000) with Beverley Milton-Edwards.
