Calum Carmichael is Professor of Comparative Literature & Biblical Studies at Cornell University, Ithaca & a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Postgraduate Hebrew Studies. He is a graduate of the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow & Oxford where he studied under David Daube.
