She has worked at the state level in New Jersey as a consultant on technology use in the classroom. She holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and a doctorate in Adult Education, both from Teachers College, Columbia University. Linda L. Smith is President of Smith Consulting, in Washington, D.C. She has earned master's degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University (Adult Education) and the University of Tennessee (Nutrition and Public Health Education), and her doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University (Adult Education). Lyle Yorks is Associate Professor in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University.
