Charles Rosen, a world-class pianist and renowned writer on music, has taught at The State University of New York at Stony Brook and the University of Chicago and delivered the Charles Eliot Norton Lectures at Harvard. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Cambridge and Trinity College, Dublin.
