This little book tells the visual story of Dale Chihuly's exhibition at the Tower of David Museum of the History of Jerusalem. In his most ambitious project yet, the artist and an international team of assistants created seventeen installations to animate the grounds of the ancient Citadel. The evocative, monumental sculptures were made from more than 10,000 glass parts blown in France, Japan, the Czech Republic, Finland, Israel, and the United States. Along with depictions of the sculptures, Chihuly's vibrant drawings give us a glimpse at his energy and vision, which have served as a powerful bridge between diverse peoples. Commentary by William Warmus accompanies the illustrations.Chihuly, Dale is the author of 'Chihuly in the Light of Jerusalem 2000 Dail Ts'Ihuli Be-Proyekt Mahavah Li-Yerushalayim = Dayl Tshihuli Yukarrimu Urushalim Al-Quds', published 2000 under ISBN 9781576840313 and ISBN 157684031X.
