As a sea-going hitchhiker, Neva Sullaway lived the story of Chasing Dreamtime well before her twenty-fifth birthday. After settling in Sydney, she became Australia's National Women's Champion sailboarder. During this time she created a magazine for sailors, Freesail Australia, which became Australia's top-selling sailboarding magazine. She then authored One with the Wind-A Guide to Sailboarding in Australia. Competing in various locations around the world, she covered international sporting events for Australian, U.S., and European sailing magazines. Returning to the U.S., Sullaway delved into filmmaking, receiving a first-place award for her short film Woodcarver, at the San Francisco International Film Festival. She's also the author of Sailing in San Diego-A Pictorial History and a former editor of Mains'il Haul.
