Pauline Baird Jones was raised in Wyoming, but has lived in New Orleans with her husband and children since 1985. She has been writing stories and articles since she discovered the power of words, but got serious with her first stage play, The Visible Difference¸ which was produced at Texas A&I in the summer of 1985. For four years, she wrote a humor column for her home town paper, The Lovell Chronicle, about adjusting to life in New Orleans (which is the polar opposite of Wyoming!) and has had her non-fiction articles published world-wide. She received a Fire To Fly award in 1998 from Futures Magazine for an article she co-wrote on electronic publishing and her first novel, Pig in a Park, was the first electronic book to be nominated for Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice award. In her "spare" time she also writes screenplays and recently optioned her script adaptation of her second book, I Love Luci When I Don't Want To Kill Her. She's always loved romantic suspense, but didn't start her own until she got the idea for Pig in a Park while watching the Gulf War on television. Her blend of romantic suspense and humor is, she believes, a natural outcome of growing up in a large family. "Lots of love and laughter," she says, "but you're never quite sure you'll survive your siblings idea of what's fun."Jones, Pauline Baird is the author of 'Byte Me' with ISBN 9780759903944 and ISBN 0759903948.
