Jim Bruton's career has spanned thirty-five years in the field of corrections. He retired in 2001 as the warden of Minnesota's maximum security prison at Oak Park Heights, one of the most secure and famous high security facilities in the world. He has held several positions including the vice chairman of the state parole board, deputy commissioner of corrections and president of the West Central Wardens and Superintendents Association. Jim is also on the faculty at five colleges and universities teaching in Criminal Justice.
