The son of Romanian immigrants, Eyal Yurconi was born and raised in Rehovot, Israel, a small town south of metropolitan Tel-Aviv. As a teenager he was a world ranked tennis player and later represented Northern Arizona University and Norfolk State University in Division I Athletics where he earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's degree in Interpersonal Communications.
