David Bruce MacDonald holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. From 1999 to 2002 he was Assistant Visiting Professor in the Social Sciences at the Ecole Superieur de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP), and before that, Deputy Editor and Books Reviews Editor at Millennium: Journal of International Studies. He is currently Lecturer in Political Studies at the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand) where he lives with his wife and baby son.
