Robert Globerman wanted to be Gene Kelly. Instead, he went on to create his own adventure-comic strip, SCOTT SEVEN. Then he began a teaching career as a high school art teacher in Ossining, New York, where he was twice named Teacher-of-the-Year and twice named yearbook dedicatee. He eventually became art coordinator for the Ossining Public Schools. During his tenure there, he won a Fulbright Fellowship and a Smith-Mundt Grant to teach and train teachers in Israel. Several foreign trips later, he became an adjunct assistant professor of art history at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York.
