Alien Invaders/Invasores Extraterrestres

Bonnie Leick grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. From there, she went to Southern California. While attending Cal Arts (California Institute of the Arts), she sold her student film, Better Than Grass, to the Spike and Mike Festival of Animation. She earned her BFA in Film/Video Character Animation and entered the world of animation, working on projects ranging from a commercial for HBO/Showtime, to Monty Python’s Holy Grail cd-rom game, to Warner Brother’s Space Jam, to various projects for Disney including The Tigger Movie. Bonnie also wrote short stories for Howie Mandel’s Lil’ Howie series of educational cd-rom games. Bonnie broke into the world of children’s books by selling a piece of artwork at the SCBWI’s 2003 art auction in New York. She illustrated her first children’s picture book, Alien Invaders / Invasores extraterrestre, for Raven Tree Press and illustrated the cover for The Boy Who Ate Dog Biscuits (Random House, 2004).Huggins-Cooper, Lynn is the author of 'Alien Invaders/Invasores Extraterrestres', published 2005 under ISBN 9780974199276 and ISBN 0974199273.
