Alice 19th, Vol. 7: The Lost Word

Yu Watase was born on March 5 in a town near Osaka, Japan, and she was raised there before moving to Tokyo to follow her dream of creating manga. In the decade since her debut short story, Pajama De Ojama ("An Intrusion in Pajamas"), she has produced more than 50 compiled volumes of short stories and continuing series. Her latest series, Zettai Kareshi ("He'll Be My Boyfriend"), is currently running in the anthology magazine Shojo Comic. Watase's long-running horror/romance story Ceres: Celestial Legend, her historical fantasy Fushigi Yugi, and her more recent series Imadoki! (Nowadays) are all available in North America, published by VIZ.
