A House of David in the Land of Jesus

Robert Lewis Berman was born in Atlanta in 1931. At a young age, his family moved to Lexington, Mississippi until WW II, when his father was stationed in Atlanta and later went overseas. Returning to Lexington, Bob remained there until departing for the University of Mississippi, where he was one of six students selected to the Hall of Fame. He was a First Lt. in the 10th Infantry Division. Honorably discharged, he received his MBA from the Harvard Business School. Married for 50 years to Sondra Ann Shindell of New Haven, CT, they have 3 married daughters, and 7 grandchildren. A civic and religious leader, he owned a sales and marketing and a real estate development firm. His first book was More Than Survival, 1988.
