With the advent of the 21st century, many expected some great change: the end of the world, the end of the age, the "rapture." So far none of the above has happened -- so what is to become of earth and its inhabitants? Will there be any significant change? Many think we cannot continue indefinitely on the present course, that war, terrorism, disease, weather, pollution, population -- something will cause dramatic change. What will it be? My protagonist, a self-proclaimed present-day prophet, believes he knows. Some of his prophesies are dark, yet he does see light at the end of a very long tunnel. This novel contains some highly controversial matter, most notably graphic sex and violence because they are germane to the story. I have also taken considerable liberties with biblical material and with chronology.
